Bar Maleti sits quietly along Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta, blending the casual ease of a local bar with enough food variety to cover breakfast, lunch, or a light evening bite. Its location makes it a natural pause point for people strolling toward the Lido or locals unwinding after errands. The atmosphere carries a familiar, easygoing vibe—comfortable enough to settle in with a book or watch the world go by, including the steady flow of tourists and Venetians alike.

This spot balances well between a quick drink and casual dining. The menu features classic Italian bar fare such as panini, tramezzini, and well-made Tiramisù alongside light dishes like penne al pomodoro and lasagna Bolognese, catering to those who want something more substantial without stepping into formal dining. You’ll find breakfast-friendly options too, including croissants and a good selection of coffees, highlighted by a well-shaken Caffè Shakerato for warmer days.

Bar Maleti’s service generally keeps things moving at a comfortable pace. On busy afternoons, the staff handle incoming orders with attentiveness, though slower moments between courses suggest it’s a place you can afford to slow down and savor your surroundings. The bar seems especially inviting in late afternoons, with locals and visitors alike gravitating toward a Spritz or Campari soda paired with small bites — a ritual tied closely to the Venetian aperitivo culture.

There’s a family-friendly angle here too; several guests have noted the joy of enjoying gelato alongside their drinks, which adds a relaxed, neighborhood feel. The outdoor seating catches natural light for most of the day, making it a convenient stop for dog walkers, early risers, or those in search of people-watching in a lively yet laid-back setting.

In short, Bar Maleti works best as a midday or late-afternoon spot for a casual drink accompanied by accessible Italian bar snacks, where the pace is unhurried and the environment suits both locals and visitors passing through Granviale Santa Maria Elisabetta.

This looks like a good hang-out place for a drink in the late afternoon. I had a Campari soda brought to my table by a quick waiter while studying life around me.

We had 2 different fixed price menu, pasta and meat, with wine of the house for 36. Dishes were great and good service, wine was excellent. Only downside is they took too much time to take our orden and bring the second dish, and I couldn't try the ice cream due to satisfying portion sizes :)

Stopped here after noticing it was busy on the way to the beach, seated quickly and orders taken. Spritz on point, food arrived swift. Never caught the waiters name but very hard working chap. Would return anytime.

A one stop shop for any food or drink needs. In the morning you have wonderful croissants and at noon delicious salads and sides. Can get crowded but this is mostly due to its excellent location between the beach and the boat docks, surrounded by hotels. Staff was helpful on more than one occasion and food never disappointed.

Bar Maleti is a lovely cafe bar in Lido Venice that excels in its coffee and pastry offerings. The coffee is top-notch, exactly what you'd hope for in Italy, and their pastries are fresh and incredibly tasty, making it a perfect spot for a delightful breakfast or mid-morning treat. The atmosphere is also quite charming, providing a nice place to soak in the Venetian vibe. However, during my visit, the service was noticeably lacking. While not unfriendly, the staff seemed somewhat disengaged and slow to respond. Getting their attention for orders or assistance wasn't always easy, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. Overall, Bar Maleti is a solid choice for those prioritizing excellent coffee and delicious pastries in a nice ambiance.
